Dr. Lawrence Filak is a native of Cresson, Pennsylvania.  He attended Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  Dr. Filak received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.   He had been practicing for over 6 years in the corporate setting prior to opening his private practice in July, 2005.

Dr. Filak and his wife, Nicole, have two sons, Nathan and Tyler and a daughter, Lauren.
